Asian Arts Funding Grants or loans

There are many grants available to study Asian Art.

Artists rely heavily on grants and scholarships to fund their creative activities. Arts patrons, from individuals to foundations, provide the seed money for the awards. For artists interested in the creation, study or performance of Asian-inspired art, there are several competitive funding opportunities available.

Asian Cultural Council

The Asian Cultural Council is a non-profit based in New York City that awards fellowships to artists as part of its cultural exchange mission between the United States and Asian countries. Grantees from the United States use their award to pursue artistic projects or education in an Asian country. And conversely, Asian individuals receive compensation to come to the United States to study or create art. The ACC awards grants in a wide-range of areas including: archaeology, architecture, art history, crafts, dance, non-commercial design, film and video, literature, music, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture and theater. Organizations can also apply for grants to fund artistic cultural exchanges.
