Modeling for pin-up photos can be great fun and provide a playful glimpse into the mind of a pin-up model. Pin-up models became famous during World War II and have been inspiration to millions of people since. Posing for these shots takes just a little technique.
Instructions
1. Listen to the photographer. That is what she is there for. The photographer will guide the model into just the right poses for great results.
2. Relax during the shoot, and get into the mindset of a pin-up. Carefree and confident are a couple of the qualities 1940s pin-ups exuded.
3. Stay in the light, and be on the mark when the shoot begins. Excessive movement is frowned upon and makes it hard to set up a pin-up shot.
4. Be creative when possible. Oftentimes, the photographer will allow the model to use his own poses. Be open to new commands or direction as well.
5. Know where the limits should be drawn. If the model is uncomfortable posing nude for pin-up shots, consider posing with props that might cover sensitive areas for an alluring and teasing pose.
