Produce A Karaoke Mp3

In minutes, you can create your own karaoke MP3s and be the life of the party!

Whether you're a karaoke DJ or a true karaoke fan, you can agree that building your library of karaoke songs can get quite expensive. However, you can create your own karaoke MP3s for free. All you need is a stereo MP3 of the song you wish to turn into an instrumental, and audio editing software. If you don't have an audio editing program on hand, use Audacity, which is a free audio editing program. You may even be able to search online for an instrumental version of the song you need.

Instructions

1. Visit your favorite search engine and do a search for an instrumental MP3 of the song of your choice. If you locate an instrumental MP3 available for download, make sure it's legal and virus free.

2. Obtain a high-quality stereo MP3 of the song you wish to turn into a karaoke MP3 if you are unable to locate the instrumental directly for download.

3. Use your audio editing software to remove the vocals from the selected MP3. Follow the instruction manual provided by the software that you are using to effectively remove the vocals from the MP3. If you don't have any audio editing software, download and install the Audacity free software. A link to download Audacity can be found below in the Resources section.

4. Download LAME MP3 encoder from Audacity's website (if necessary). This encoder will allow you to export the finished track to an MP3 file. A link to download the encoder can be found below in the Resources section.

5. Import the selected MP3 in Audacity as a "New Project."

6. Select the "Track Menu" (click the arrow next to the track/song title), then select "Split Stereo Track."

7. Click on the right channel (lower track) to select the entire right channel.

8. Select the "Effects" menu, then choose "Invert."

9. Select the "Track Menu" and change each track to "Mono." Now listen to it to ensure that the vocals are removed and to see how the final result sounds.

10. Export the finished track to MP3 or WAV, depending on your preferences.
