Dinner Theaters In Mississippi

Dinner theater fans have many options in Mississippi.

Mississippi's theater scene offers a handful of options for those who prefer dinner theater. Dinner theater combines a pre-show meal with a staged production for a single price. With few exceptions, dinner theater traditionally produces content with the entire family in mind. Though production values may vary from theater to theater, theater companies specialize in a variety of genres from comedic to dramatic musicals to plays.

Carey Dinner Theater

The Carey Dinner Theatre is in Hattiesburg and is associated with William Carey University. The oldest dinner theater in the state, audience members choose between two productions staged each summer. Genres include musical comedy, revues and the occasional original production. Dinners consist of catered buffets served by cast members just before show time. All shows take place at the O. L. Quave Theater just across the street from the northern edge of the campus. Reservations are required. Curtain goes up at 7pm.
