Apply Vegas Showgirl Makeup

Apply Las Vegas Showgirl Makeup

During the Halloween season, many girls choose to dress up as Las Vegas showgirls and show off their best assets. No matter what Las Vegas show you go to, the showgirls typically have the same qualities. They look fabulous in their costumes and come complete with a face full of makeup. In order to create the perfect Las Vegas showgirl look, you need the proper products, good technique and plenty of time to layer the makeup on.

Instructions

1. Cleanse your face. It's important to prepare your skin. Wash your skin with your favorite cleanser and follow up with a toner. Apply moisturizer and allow it to absorb into your skin for 10 minutes. After the 10 minutes is up, apply a makeup primer to your face.

2. Apply foundation. Dot the foundation onto your face and use a foundation brush, a damp sponge or your fingers to blend it into your skin. Keep in mind, showgirl makeup is stage makeup. Therefore, use a full coverage foundation. Apply concealer to any areas that need extra coverage and set your makeup with a dusting of face powder.

3. Contour the eyes. It has to be a dramatic look. Apply a silver-colored eyeshadow onto your lid as a wash. You may need to apply two coats in order to get a heavier look. Use a charcoal-colored eyeshadow in the crease of your eyelid to contour your eye. Once your eye shadow is complete, line your eyes with black liquid liner.

4. Apply false eyelashes. Try your eyelashes on and if necessary, trim them so that they fit your eye. Apply eyelash adhesive to the back of the eyelashes and carefully apply them to your eyes. Be sure to put them in place quickly before the glue dries.

5. Create a glow. Apply a light coat of your favorite bronzer onto your face using your powder brush. Once your bronzer is complete, give your cheeks a glow. Swipe your blush brush over your blush and smile. Apply the blush to the apples of your cheeks.

6. Apply lipstick. Line your lips with lip liner and use a lip brush to lightly blend the lip liner into your lips. Fill in your lips with a bold- colored lipstick. If you desire a glossy look, add a coat of a complementary or matching lip gloss over the top of your lipstick.
