If you've watched "BrainSurge" and imagined being a contestant on the show, you can actually fulfill that dream through the show's audition process. Nickelodeon produces "BrainSurge," a show for kids that tests the comprehension and recollection abilities of the contestants with puzzles and quizzes, eliminating a contestant at the end of each round. It's a good show for kids to play along with at home, but if you want to actually be one of the kids on TV, you will need to go through the audition process.
Instructions
1. Determine if auditions are currently going on for a new season of "BrainSurge" by visiting the TV show's auditions website, nickcontestants.com. If there are no auditions yet, it will say that auditions are closed. Click on "Join Our Email List" to be notified when auditions begin again.
2. Go to Disney Hollywood Studios in Los Angeles, Calif. -- where the show is filmed -- at the time and dates provided by the website if auditions are taking place to audition in person. You must be between the ages of 11 and 14.
3. Create a video showcasing your talents and submit it to the show via the website as a "virtual audition" if you don't want to go all the way to California. Someone from the show will contact you if the show is interested in having you on as a contestant.
