Do Ring Hats On The Tajima Embroidery Machine

Tajima embroidery machines can pattern more surface area of a hat than most other embroidery machines.

The Tajima Embroidery Machines have excellent hoop hat embroidery capabilities with user friendly set up and design transfer. These machines also have many important safety features such as automatic thread tension regulators, broken thread alarms and automatic shut off sensors if anything comes too close to the needles during operation. These features help make embroidering hoop hats fast and easy. Embroidery designs can be transferred to the machine using a USB device such as a jump drive or through a network cable to a personal computer.

Instructions

1. Ensure the machine is set up and threaded properly with the necessary thread colors for the chosen embroidery design. Refer to the owner's manual for set up and threading instructions.

2. Input the embroidery design into the Tajima by inserting a jump drive into the USB drive or connecting your personal computer to the machine via a network cable. Create and save your design in the Tajima program software prior to transferring it to the embroidery machine.

3. Hook up the pantographic attachment system over the sewing arm designed for hoop hat embroidery. Clamp the blank hat into the pantographic attachment system with the brim pointing upwards and the hat covering the sewing arm. If there isn't a brim, line up and center the front of the hat over the top of the sewing arm and clamp into place with the pantographic attachment clamp.

4. Press the trace button on the Tajima. The machine will trace the parameters of the design on the hat to ensure proper alignment. Shift the hat as needed if the trace process reveals a misalignment.

5. Press the start button to begin the embroidery process. Re-thread the machine if the thread breaks by following the threading instruction in the owner's manual. Be prepared to press the emergency shut off button if the machine malfunctions.
