Convert Raw Pentax Images

When you take a digital picture they can be saved as JPEG or RAW file.

Pentax is manufacturer of cameras and other related accessories. When you take a picture with a digital camera, the sensor sends the image to a processor that then saves the image to a memory card. Depending on the model of Pentax camera you own, you have the option of recording the pictures in RAW or JPEG (Joint Photographic Experts Group) format. RAW images are digital files that are minimally processed by the cameras internal processor. Processing RAW files after you have downloaded them to your computer requires an image processing program.
