Create A Dance Club Playlist

A party without the right music playlist can be rather boring. Instead of crowding the dance floor, party goers may fill up the seats around it to avoid dancing to the humdrum music flowing from the speakers. To avoid this situation and get your party popping, create a dance club playlist. Get your guests on their feet and grooving to the music with the helpful tips in this article.

Instructions

1. Purchase rewritable CDs from a local electronics or computer software store.

2. Go online and log on to a few radio stations that you listen to all the time. If you're not a fan of radio, log on to radio sites of Top 40, hip hop and R&B stations in your area or big cities like Atlanta, New York City and Los Angeles. These sites should provide a good start for your music CD. Once you've logged on to those sites, write down the names of the top 10 to 15 songs on each radio site's playlist.

3. Log onto music websites like MTV.com and VH1.com and write down the hit songs that are on the websites. There should be several to choose from. Websites like Yahoo! Music can help as well.

4. Once you have written down your songs, create a song list. Add in songs that weren't on those sites but that you like and are good dance songs.

5. Download the songs on a pay-for-play site, like iTunes or Yahoo! Music. Once you have downloaded the songs, organize the songs into a playlist and download them onto CDs.
