Anime Cartoon Style
Make a photo over into anime cartoon style with myWebFace, a free web-based program that requries only an Internet connection for even the most inexperienced user to create anime from photos almost instantly. No complicated software or special artistic talent is required to use myWebFace. Anime is a cartoon style that originated in Japan and is popular due to its distinctive style of exaggerated facial expressions, over-large eyes, stylized eye and face shapes and big hair styles. There are artists on the Web that specialized in turning photos into anime, but the process is expensive, and it can be weeks before the user receives the finished product. With myWebFace a user becomes his or her own anime artist instantly and for free.
Instructions
1. Log on to the Internet and bring up the myWebFace site.
2. Select the "Cartoon You" tab at the top of the screen and click on either the male icon if working with a photo of a man, or the female icon if working with a photo of a woman.
3. Click on the "Inspiration" button at the top right corner of the screen and upload the working photo for reference.
4. Study the look of the hair in the working photo, then select the icon from those presented that most closely resembles the photo, then choose the color from the color choices at the bottom of the working area that most closely resembles the hair color in the photo.
5. Click on the "Brows" tab directly beneath the "Hair" tab at the right of the working area and select the eyebrow thickness and shape that most closely resembles that of the working photo. Use the buttons below the brow icon choices to move the brows higher or lower on the face, to increase or decrease thickness, to adjust the tilt of the brows and finally to move the brows closer together or further apart.
6. Move to the "Eyes" tab at the left of the screen and choose the closest eye shape to that of the photo, then use the buttons beneath the working screen to adjust size, face placement and tilt.
7. Move down through the remaining tabs at the left of the working screen selecting the attributes closest to those of the working photo, then in the last two tabs select clothing and a background for the new anime creation.
8. Click "Next" when the anime photo is finished, then select the "Save to Computer" button beneath the finished anime photo.
