Sounds like it would be perfect fodder for a parody. With a little comic creativity, you could merge your favorite films and have a screenplay for a great comedic movie spoof.
Instructions
1. Pick a category of movies to spoof. The movies should all be of the same genre or at least have something in common, like being big budget epics, horror films or romantic comedies.
2. Pay attention to the most significant characters and scenes in the movies you plan to spoof. These should be the scenes and characters that viewers remembered the most--not necessarily the main ones.
3. Write a screenplay involving all the movies you are spoofing. This could be the most difficult task, as you must create a central plot that takes all these different scenes and characters and links them together.
4. Think of a potential cast for your movie. Don't go for big-time movie stars. Instead, look for television actors or B-list movie stars who play satire and parody well.
5. Create a title for your movie spoof. A two- to three-word title stating the genre you're spoofing works, but merging all your spoofed movie titles into one super long title can be even better.
6. Send your packaged movie spoof screenplay to a studio and hope for the best. The biggest studios, like Warner Bros., might not be interested, but a studio like Columbia Pictures might take a look.
