Even though you have a fake tree in your home, you can still make it look real. With just a few items from your local retailer and a little time, you can make your tree look fresh cut. You will be the only one who knows it is fake. Follow the steps below to learn how.
Instructions
1. Purchase an artificial tree that looks the most realistic. It should be full and you should not be able to see the pole that holds the tree together.
2. Run your fingers down the limbs of the tree. Start at the end and push toward the center of the tree. This will cause the branches to fluff up.
3. Curve the tips of each limb slightly upward. This will cause a natural looking curve to the branches and enhance the real look. Be sure not to curve them all the same because no pine tree has perfect branches.
4. Place pine cones and real pine tree sprigs in your tree. Adding candy canes and popcorn strings seems to have a way of making a tree look more real as well.
5. Spray natural pine tree scent over your tree. You want it to smell as good as it looks.
