Watch Ifc Movies With Comcast When Needed

As just one of many features, your Comcast On Demand service lets you watch movies from the Independent Film Channel (IFC) that are still playing in independent film theatres. In 2006, Comcast began releasing IFC films. The idea is part of a plan to reach out to customers through easy on-demand movie viewing.

Instructions

1. Turn on your cable service.

2. Select channel 1 to view the entire range of on demand services, like movies and music, network series episodes and specials, and all genres of TV programs for easy watching when your schedule allows.

3. Select "Movies and Events" from the list, on the right column of the screen.

4. Go down to "IFC in theatres" near the bottom right.

5. Browse the list of available IFC movies alphabetically.

6. Select a movie title to view the price, details, year and other features, including the main actor/actress pairs.

7. Select the "buy" option to buy the film and start viewing. You will have 24 hours to watch the film. You can use the information in the colored bar at the bottom to see how far along the movie is and how much is left to watch.

8. Use "pause" if you want to stop viewing. Get your selection back later with the "Saved Programs" option.
