For centuries, magicians have been leaving spectators in awe with dazzling tricks. You can do many of these same tricks yourself, though some of them will require practice to achieve the mastery of illusion inherent in magic. Whether you're planning a birthday party for your four-year-old daughter or you simply want to be the life of the party, magic tricks are an ideal way to impress and entertain.
Instructions
1. Go to goodtricks.net and click on the "Enter" button on the homepage.
2. Click on one of the magic categories in the navigational bar at the top of the screen. Choose from card magic, coin magic, levitation or bar tricks.
3. Click on the magic trick you would like to learn, which can be found on the next page, where you'll see two columns of magic tricks.
4. Read about the effect of the trick, the preparation needed and the method to successfully complete the trick. Some explanations are accompanied by videos.
5. Practice doing the trick while reading or watching the instructions.
6. Show off your newly learned magic trick to your friends or navigate the site to learn more tricks. There's well over 100 tricks to learn from, including those by David Blaine and Criss Angel.
