Thin Acrylic House Fresh paint

Thin Acrylic House Paint

Acrylic house paint provides a long lasting service over your existing painted surface, as long as it remains in good condition. Acrylic house paint is durable and provides a protective finish over your properly primed home's exterior walls. Acrylic house paint is applied using sprayers, brushes, rollers or pads. You can use acrylic paint on your house foundations, exterior siding, shutters, fascia and retaining walls.

Instructions

1. Pour some of your acrylic house paint into a shallow bucket or a paint tray. Line your paint tray with a disposable cover that can be thrown out when you are through.

2. Start with a full bottle of distilled water. Distilled water will not change the color of the paint as drastically as other types of water.

3. Pour a cup of the distilled water into the paint and stir it well with a long handled wood paint spoon.

4. Determine if your paint is thin enough after 1 cup of water. Only add 1 cup at a time until you reach your desired consistency.
